Let’s Stop Bullying

This was an individual project. IADT in conjunction with DCU and 3 other European partners are involved in the Disabuse project. The aim is to tackle disablist bullying. IADT Technology and Psychology researchers are collaborating in designing and building a dedicated ‘Let’s Stop Bullying’ application. I hoped to design a website that would develop resilience in relation to the social self in individuals with disability. I designed and formatted pages from sketches initially and then did final designs on Photoshop. It was essential that the site would be accessible to the base group, giving consideration to literacy, visual and intellectual impairments. I was careful to include imagery to reflect my user group and used appropriate interfaces, font size, style and terminology.
